Modern Exterior Remodel, Venice, CAThis house was originally built in the early 2000s and although it had all the makings to be a really cool modern home, the exterior missed the mark. To elevate the facade, we smoothed out the stucco, put in all new Marvin Integrity windows, replaced the original yellow siding on the front of the house with reclaimed oak, got rid of the clunky balcony railing and created a visual mass continuous with existing structure, added a deeper, more sculptural canopy and completely opened up the living room by putting in a custom La Cantina bi-fold door (pictures of the bi-fold door open coming soon!).
